HRX Mag Drive

So Harry to install a Mag Drive on an HRX do you only need the main chassis ?? My dealer want me to send back both boxes,,Motor and all,,I can't see sending every thing and take a chance of damaging something and the cost of shipping both boxes ,,My dealer is in the dark on this lol Thanks Tim

Tim, I will let Harry confirm but all you need to do is send in the plinth. No motor, no tonearm, no platter (unless you are trading it in) or accessories.

The factory is so busy right now I would recommend calling Mat or Marc and making arrangements for this to be done. A swath of time has to be carved out to get this done and done properly. You only need to ship the chassis and the platter in case yours doesn't work with the new parts. Keep the arm, the feet, the motor, etc.

Thanks Harry,, Why would you need the old platter if we are putting on a new one ?? Can you elaborate on that a little ?? Thanks Tim

My mistake, too much sun must have baked my brain. We do not need your platter. In fact you can make a new turntable from the left over parts!!!
