DeeCee,

I wonder how many times a Miles Davis LP has "wowed" the ears of listeners on VPI turntables?
I also hope a few Miles Davis LP's are always in the collection of LP's that VPI includes in it's selection of LP's they have available for audition at any of their public venues. Especially considering that the Mile's LP "Kind of Blue" is the largest selling Jazz LP of all time. A VPI turntable deserves a Miles Davis LP, just as a Miles Davis LP desrves to be heard on a VPI turntable.

I know that everyone gives Kind of Blue all the credit (well deserved) but his album "Miles Ahead" always gets me going, especially "My Ship".

Probably from years of listening to my father blaring it from the stereo as a kid... fond memories. Guess that makes our family a multi-generational Miles fan!

I am a father who blared it from an HW19 Mk3 /Souther Triquartz/ Clearaudio Veritas.

My 38 year old younger son now asks Alexiss to stream it for him ...

I’ve got 5 or 6 different releases of the 1959/60 recording entitled Sketches of Spain, as well as many other MD efforts over the years.

I’m listening right now to the first “digitally remastered directly from the original analog tapes” release. I think it’s the best one. The Classic 3SE/NovaHW is as rendering it as well as I can ever remember.

Alexa Alexiss Tomato Tomahto... Otto Korrekt chose it for me.

Maybe if I were using Siri, it would have been right.

A UK dealer from whom I’ve bought many Linn items uses Siri. He asked me to send him a picture of my deck once. Siri misunderstood and changed the intended “e” to an unintended “i.”

I’ll keep typing, and playing my vinyl, thanks.
