The speakers are on a custom area rug, the floor underneath is bamboo, when I first got the Blades they wanted to use spikes with saddles under them to protect the wood, the glass was perfect for protecting the floor and carpet. Sounded very open and fast, good solid bass, does not damage the wood or the carpet, I love it.

Tried various wood solutions over the last three years and the glass always winds up back in there. Hard to beat.

Hi

I use the GAIA 2's under my PSB IMage tower 3's and my VPI Classic 4. They are a great investment.

It should make a nice difference because the feedback level lowers also.

Where I live now I'm on a concrete floor and my world has changed!!! No feedback issues to worry about.

I am also on a concrete pad in front of an unused fireplace. I have a wood floor for the rest of the room. Best of both worlds. In my prior room, the floor was wood and I had to use an in line filter for below 20 hz or the subwoofer would pump. I was able to get rid of that in this new setup.
