Magnetic Platter for HW-40’s?

Hi

Are there any plans to offer a magnetic platter for the HW-40?

Thanks

What's wrong with the current platter? A $15K table that was just released needs "upgrades" already?

I agree with Suntea....... I'd replace the feet and put it on a rock solid table.....you're good to go.

The HW-40 is staying as it is for the foreseeable future with no changes. It is almost perfect as is, play with cartridges.

BTW, VPI is the new Van den Hul distributor int he USA and the Colibri Master Signature may be the best cartridge I have ever heard!!

Thanks Harry

I currently use the Kisiki Purple Heart partly based on your feedback. Can you tell me if the Colibri Master Signature bests it, and if so at what price.

Also have you tried the Isoacoustics GIAA II’s on the WD 40? I purchased them for My VPI Classic 4 and they made a big improvement.

Thanks

The Colibri Master Signature beats almost everything else but is way more than the Kiseki PH so they are not in competition. If you have the bread the CMS is my choice for best cartridge price not considered.

Never tried the Gaia on the 40 yet.

There is absolutely no need to replace the feet - the HW-40 feet are incredible!
