New "Analog Corner" newsletter

New "Analog Corner" newsletter

Postby Jharris » Tue Oct 24, 2017 11:42 pm

Hopefully you guys don't mind me posting this here, figure you will all enjoy this though.

We just started a new newsletter which will contain an Analog Corner; David Fischer is currently writing the corner for us. First album/artist is Frank Sinatra. David said this would be the longest he writes as he has a passion for Sinatra. It's about 4000 words of wonderful history and sonic comparisons with the original and re-issues.

Please visit our site to sign-up for the newsletter. Email sign-up is on the homepage. We plan to send out one newsletter a month around the 1st.

We will be looking at Sinatra's "Songs For Swingin' Lovers!" album, originally released in 1956 - background info on the collaboration of Nelson Riddle & Sinatra, stories about the recording session, Sinatra's unique style, in depth look at "I've Got You Under My Skin," and some vinyl sonic comparisons over the years. This album is one of all-time favorites and should be interesting!

You might want to mention this is a purely commercial site. Not criticizing but a heads-up would be appreciated.
