DIY phono stage

While my Aesthetix Rhea is away for repair, I whipped up this bad body to tie me over in the meantime.

It's based on the Twisted Pear Audio Retro -- while it certainly lacks some tube magic, but it is more than made up for in the dynamic & bass departments, full bodied and very low noise.

Edit: I omitted some technical details. Here they are:
1. Dual-mono fully balanced
2. Resistive load is 100 Ohm
3. Capacitive load is 20 pF (not important for MC)
3. Gain is ~70dB
