What LP's do you consider a must have?

I have now just shy of 400 LP's. They cover pretty much the gamut of music. I enjoy each and every one of them for what they. If you've never purchased from a thrift store, you really need to give it a try. I go to the local Goodwill or similar store every chance that I can to find gems for a penny, yet, I have no issue buying new. As far as used go, a good record cleaner can bring so much from the brink it is crazy. With that said, I would like to know what albums you feel a good collection should include. You don't have to give an exhaustive list. Maybe just one or two suggestions..... Maybe we could even turn this into an ongoing list.
What say you?

This is a great idea for an ongoing thread. I think it is a MUST that people post the details of the exact pressing they are thinking of, preferably with a Discogs link. Don't just say 'Dark Side of the Moon'....

I picked up the Brubeck at one of the thrift stores. It was brand new no less, and worth every penny. Now, I have to look into your other suggestions.

In addition, I would like to add the following that has just been released. Don't laugh.

"The Mamas & Papas Collected"

Sonics will blow you away and there is a lot on the 2 dual disc album I had never heard.

It is 180 Gram vinyl. I obviously purchased it brand new and do not regret it.

By the way, I do agree that we need to post as much pertinent information as possible. Thus I add the following to the album I just suggested.

The Mamas & Papas Collected
Universal Music
Music On Vinyl

Only 1500 Copies are being pressed and they are numbered.

There are still some available from what I understand. I purchased mine from Soundstage Direct.

Yes I did. Though that was not the reason to buy it.

Of course not! I'm thinking of getting it myself (California Dreaming is one of my favorite nostalgia songs.)

I just got Marvin Gaye's Collected in blue vinyl - superb quality on most cuts.

Happy Listening!

OK, Where did you find it? I just did a cursory look with no luck.
