Did you get a chance to listen yet Moon? What are your thoughts?

I am not too thrilled with Hyperspace both soundwise and music wise. If you want a great Beck album, buy Mutations. You won't be disappointed at all. Great sound and music.

The best Beck album I have is Mobile Fidelity - Sea Change which is a sublime listening experience to say the least!!

I was hoping more people commented on this thread. I like alternative and can’t really find much of it on vinyl.

I'm guessing this might be a little too alternative/dark for most, but the album can be found on vinyl:

The Chameleons
One of the most under rated bands ever.
Script of the Bridge and Strange Times are two classics

I know this is an older thread, but I am just now stumbling onto it.

A few Alternative (super broad category) records that I think sound fantastic are:
Love and Rockets - Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven
OMD - Dazzle Ships
Tones on Tail - The Album POP
Belle and Sebastian - Girls in Peacetime want to Dance

Additionally the New Order - Movement, and The Smiths - the Queen is Dead box sets that came out last year sound great. Much better that the originals, to my ears.

Oh, and one more, Alphaville - The Breathtaking Blue is shockingly good, if your an AV fan.

Enjoy
