Orchids1,

"Fresh Garbage " is a favorite of mine too. I bought "12 Dreams of Doctor Sardonicus", "The Family That Plays Together" and "Spirit" (Fresh Garbage) two years ago on Music on Vinyl but they're no longer available. I have "Model Shop" on Sundazed and it's decent and all are available on Sundazed at the moment.

Can't believe no one has mentioned Jefferson Airplane. They were one of the seminal bands. Mofi reissues are terrific.

As I recall, Tiny Tim got married on the Johny Carson Show. One of the great moments of American television. If I'm remembering correctly, his wife was Miss Vickey. That's why I stopped watching television and and decided to listen to more music.

Add anything by Tom Petty. Just picked up tickets to the 40th anniversary tour and I can't wait. I remember catching Tom back in '77 and I immediately knew he was going to have longevity as an artist.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Mudcrutch yet pick it up, it qualifies as Hippie Music, it's got that later Byrds,Gram Parsons, Flying Burrito Bros vibe ....
