DiMeola, McLaughlin and De Lucia's Friday Night in San Francisco, 300/3000; and The Disco Biscuits' Uncivilized Area. Somewhat extreme listening choices but both share remarkable audio qualities. Enjoying the music while decompressing with an SKB IPA. Sating aural desires and slaking thirst.

It's not the kind of music I normally listen to, but when I started playing, I couldn't stop. I think it's an amazing performance, and an amazingly well recorded LP. There was an initial, numbered release. And then, I think it was back-ordered and there was a reissue. I got one of the initial ones.

George Russell and The Liviing Time Orchestra is "different" from any orchestra most would be familiar with. An example is the composition titled,
"Event 1 Organic Life On Earth Begins", where electric pencil sharpenersare played by various musicians. Definitely not an LP for novice listeners of "free form" jazz. Nevertheless I love George Russell and his large jazz orchestra works. In the liner notes he writes: God said grace And rolled the dice On the human race. As the cradle of humanity, Africa is our common. home; we are all Africans--white, yellow, red, brown, or black.............The African Game says something of a positive nature about this.It says that God(Great Nature)is on our side.
There are 26 musicians listed in the orchestra, so too many to list as I normally would.
