New arrival. A great performance. The sonics are too good to be true. I had set the bar low (Woodstock for God's sake) and this is an out-of-the-blue genuine pleasant surprise.

Another new arrival. Love this double album. Very good sonics with the band in their prime.

Right now, the 2015 German / EU remaster of Garbage's 1995 debut album. 2 X 12" @ 45 rpm. Great sound. Then arriving tomorrow will be my copies of the Abbey Road 50th deluxe set.

Blue World
John Coltrane

John Coltrane - Tenor Saxophone
McCoy Tyner - Piano
Jimmy Garrison - Bass
Elvin Jones - Drums

Previously unreleased music from the film "Le chat dans le sac", from a Canadian filmaker Giles Groulx. Kept in the vaults of Impulse and finally
decided to be relelased.
Recorded Mixed and Mastered by Rudy Van Gelder at Van Gelder Studios, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, June 24,1964.
I spotted this LP on Amazon as a future release for Sept. and made a memo to myself to return to purchase.
Be fore-warned that there are only 8 tracks in total on the LP, AND with 2 takes of Naima, and 3 takes of Village Blues

I'm definitely a John Coltrane enthusiast/addict, and love the tone and expression emitted from his tenor.

Jazzgene,

The Blue World sessions were recorded in 1964 and locked away. I can't say any more than that, but it did not stop me from putting it in my collection.
