The holes for the front baffle screws will be filled with Headlocks for the front grill (if I build one). But they need an odd size drill I'm waiting on (I mean - who has a 37/64" drill? Really! Well, when mine arrives from Amazon, let me know if you need it...)

Some touch up needed on the black paint on the front baffle. Not a real issue, but I'll do that soon. Internally the sides are lined with 1" waffle foam. The space is filled with polyester speaker fill. Speaker components from Madisound. Plate amp from Dayton Audio. Cherry Veneer from Veneer Factory Outlet.

So, I scraped the first subwook as although it worked great and showed what the main speakers were lacking, it caused a few room decor related issues. I decided to make two smaller (2 Cu Ft cabinets versus the 3 Cu Ft of the one shown above) and place them beneath the 2.5 way towers. It worked out better than expected. Getting the towers up and using a 3 degree front leaning tilt has focused the entire midrange and added detail I was certainly missing as it got absorbed into those overstuffed chairs. Just WOW!

So, the pic of a stack is below. All I can say is this has been a leraning experience that was both intenisely fun and at times down right frustrating. I ended up getting a better saw for the build (a used 2.5 Hp Craftsman Radial arm saw for $75). What a difference the right tools make. Took my time with it and it paid off.

Parts. One is put together, the other waiting to be glued up.
