After my last post I grounded the motor to an outlet in the Power Plant Premier. This made the biggest improvement yet. Smoother sound and a noticeable drop in the noise floor. Amazing what 2 wires can do.

Haven't tried the dryer hose idea yet. Did you? Did it work?

Yes I’ve posted a pic earlier in this thread. Worked like a charm. Thanks for the idea.

After some thought this way seems more secure.
