Classic Signature/3D with Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC Star

Hi, I'm sure there are a number of you with this combination. What phono stage are you using and what is your experience with load settings?

I have an Audia Flight Phono... via jumpers, I can set a number of values until 100 ohms, after which the next step is 980. So I haven't been able to try with the Zephyr's recommended 470 and above.

However, I've found the 100-ohm setting to work very nicely with the Zephyr; it certain sounds more fluid and has more body than the 980.

Appreciate any experiences you have to share on the subject.

Thank you.

Your unit allows to to use a 0.25A resistor of any value you choose so why not go buy some resistors in the range between 100 and 1000 and play with what sounds best to you?

I have a Manley Chinook. I have found the 100 ohm setting to be ideal for the Zephyr Star on my Classic 2/3D.
