Congratulations on your SE 45 project. When it is completed, if you don't mind, please post a few details on the circuit, and parts used in the build.
The most clean and most clear audio I have EVER heard was produced by an SE45 amp. Yess sir, the 1.5 watt output 45 triode tube is the best sounding audio tube to my ears, and when it's output is played back on very efficient speakers, it is audio magic!

Walnut from a tree in our yard. Electra Print Iron otherwise typical TSE BOM. The only boutique caps used are coupling caps & power supply cap only because I had them. I didn't really know what I was doing on the layout so I needed to get creative with wiring. This baby's as quiet as a graveyard in the neutral zone.
