Ortofon/Dvector/Benz/AT Styli - Andonstar USB Microscope

Ortofon/Dvector/Benz/AT Styli - Andonstar USB Microscope

Note: the correct spelling is Andonstar. I had originally titled the thread with "Adonstar".
Note: Due to technical difficulties all stylus photos are on pages 2 and 3.

This is such a cool toy and a Mac users dream. Plug n Play, no driver needed, pops up automatically in Photo Booth. I had it from sealed box to ready to go in 5 minutes.

This cart has about 500 - 600 hours. I wondered what kind of wear it had. Looks pretty good from the side. I can't say if the front profile is worn - no reference. I'll be taking pictures of new syli for future reference as they wear.

Dynavector XX2 MKII spec:
PF line contact shape
Stylus radius 7 x 30 micron

The tip alignment looks about perfect. (The small rectangle in the center.)

Wear? What wear?

Is this profile showing any wear? Who knows...

Nothing special. All the pics are at less than full magnification.

Sure. That's a Millennium Block. I bought mine from The Cable Company.

I ride both. I'm a bit slower now that I'm old/retired or I might have an FJR too.

P.S. For anyone scratching their head over this conversation: Clicking on my photos takes you to my Photobucket account where all the images I've posted online are viewable. Some include motorcycles. And a Millennium Block.

This looks rather awesome as I've just got myself a mac.

Anyone know how much this microscope costs and where I can buy it?

Amazon or Ebay. Search - Andonstar microscope

The same model is sold under various names. Pick one that looks like the pic. Gooseneck model is not recommended.
