VPI Scout

VPI Scout

This Scout was purchased just before the 1.1 was announced. It doesn't have the Aries branding on the back. It also has black feet which I haven't seen before. I was expecting the standard silver feet, but was pleasantly surprised with the black. 300rpm motor upgrade.

That Scout with the 300 RPM is the sweet spot for bang for the buck. I like the black feet also!

I am confused here,

I see a 300rpm pulley for this first generation Scout.
my question: is there also a 250rpm available ?

The cover is a Gingko (Plinth top) cover which I bought second hand. There are plenty of cover options out there, but I liked how Gingko curved the edges to follow the lines of the scout. That was very important to me.
