Why promote a table that is limited to 400 units. I thought the HW40 was nearly sold out?

Limited edition Porsches and Ferraris are all sold by the time they go on sale yet they get rolled out a press events.

The HW-40 is a fantastic table that shows what VPI can do, and Mat has said in the past once the limited edition run is over, there will be a new DD based on the HW-40.

Fair question to bring up. We have about 7 (5 the actually look nice) HW-40s that get circulated around for the shows. Also from the sold out part I have been controlling the numbers a bit on the dealers/distributors. What I mean is from a numbers stand point we are all set on the HW-40 but that is because I'm getting orders in clips of 10-20... one of those such dealers flat out admitting they wanted to stock up on them so they had them after they are all sold. I hate the idea of making tables and having a company being overloaded with product (I'm diving into any product when it comes to large orders).

Most of the tables at the show were either purchased by the company using it or was one of our traveling demo units.

Also I did mess up a bit on the initial marketing since I meant to have the word "Limited" be part if it but that word got lost in the midst of everything.

Point is, the Limited models will be gone by the end of this year, but no one has to worry about HW-40s and VPI's future with direct drives ;)
